The International Studies BA program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to understand the complex economic, cultural and political transformations that are taking place at the global level. The program offers a strong background in economics and international political economy in the context of globalization and develops an awareness of world societies, business relations, cultures, global institutions and politics. Students are thus formed to successfully operate in global political and economic environments, on the other hand, to equip themselves with the necessary background for graduate studies in fields ranging from international relations and management to economics.Students planning to declare international studies as their major should choose their courses in their sophomore year by taking into account the economics requirements of the program. The program also strongly encourages students to have some familiarity with another foreign language.Requirements

Funding
There is always a possibility of earning scholarships for international students in Sabanci University. However we have to remind you that there are limited numbers of scholarships in all levels and competition is very keen. Also it is not based on financial aid or citizenship but academic merit! Just after you complete your application our scholarships committee will evaluate your application and respond you back. Additionally please note that there is a chance to request scholarships when you complete at least two semesters in SU with outstanding grades.
Undergraduate Scholarships:
The higher scores from the required exams and the higher GPA scores students possess, the higher amounts of scholarships you may get while you are being admitted to the Sabanci University. Once you are granted a scholarship during the admittance, it goes on for your whole education unless you fail to meet the criteria of the scholarship.
