2. minimum kennis (ISPAC: overige vereisten) Van aanstaande studenten wordt verwacht dat zij een pakket van 30 ECTS uit de minor Media en Journalistieke Cultuur van de RUG hebben gevolgd, of een vergelijkbaar pakket van een andere universiteit. De Toelatingscommissie mag bij gebleken geschiktheid van deze eis afwijken, bijvoorbeeld bij studenten die door studie- of persoonlijke omstandigheden geen of minder dan 30 punten uit deze minor hebben kunnen volgen. Ervaring in de journalistiek is meegenomen maar niet noodzakelijk; een nieuwsgierige instelling, stressbestendigheid, gevoel voor taal, brede belangstelling en kennis van de actualiteit wel.
