This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in kitchens using a defined and restricted range of food preparation and cookery skills to prepare food and menu items. They are involved with mainly routine and repetitive activities and work under direct oversight. This eligibility does not supply the skills demanded by commercial cooks, which might be covered in SIT30816 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.This eligibility provides a pathway to work in kitchen surgeries in organisations such as restaurants, hotelsand catering operations, clubs, pubs, caf\u00e9s, along with coffee shops; and even institutions such as aged care centers, hospitals, prisons, along with schools.Possible occupation titles include:breakfast cookcatering assistantfast food cooksandwich handtakeaway cook.No occupational licensing, and certification or special legislative requirements connect with this eligibility during the time of publication.
