This program examines the social and economic relations of work, the employer-employee relationship, and current issues in public policy and economics. Students in the program are exposed to topics in collective bargaining, labour law, employment law, health and safety, and the past, present, and future of the labour movement. The impact of technology and the effects of globalization are also explored.
