The Bachelor of Laws Suits the academic requirements for Entry to practice as an Attorney in the Australian and Victorian Federal legal systems According to the Victorian Legal Admissions Board. Please be advised that non-academic requirements must also be satisfied for entry to practice and no law degree enables graduates to practise straight a way. On completion of the Public Relations major, students may be eligible to be member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and may confirm eligibility using the Institute. The Advertising major is professionally accredited by the Media Federation of Australia (MFA).

• Year 12 or equivalent
• VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL). Graduate entrance: An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline, except a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), by a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (out of 4.0)/65%. Supplemental performance criteria and requirement requirements may also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of a few of the following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 higher level degree ) with overall 70 percent, each of skills 65%
• Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no single band below 6.0
• TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a studying ring at least 18 and writing ring at least 20
• Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 5-8 (no real skills significantly less than 50)
• Any equal examination of English language proficiency. Notice: A necessity for all classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done online campus in Hawthorn.
