Designed to equip students with practical legal knowledge and an understanding of the legal profession, the ANU GDLP builds on the real legal knowledge gained in a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree. The ANU GDLP meets the federal standards for preparing entrylevel attorneys for legal practice and provides the requisite legal training for obtaining entry as legal counsel in Australia.

Recognised for direct Entry as a Legal Practitioner with admitting Police within Australia, with the exception of South Australia. Once acknowledged in another Australian State or Territory, graduates may apply to move to South Australia under reciprocal arrangements.

Australian Job of Laws, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) or Juris Doctor or Worldwide Eligibility assessed as equivalent by an Australian Legal Practitioner Admission Board. The Diploma in Law given by the Legal Profession Admission Board is also accepted for entry to the application.
