Prepare yourself for a career in business

USQ’s Bachelor of Business is designed to equip you with the knowledge required for your career in business, while also developing the skills essential to thrive in a dynamic and increasingly technology-driven work environment. The degree effectively combines theoretical study with practical applications and experience, culminating in the opportunity in your final year to complete a course in Work Integrated Learning where you’ll work with an organisation to complete a project.

In addition to your chosen specialisation of Management and Leadership, you can choose to study another area in-depth with a second major, or broaden your knowledge with a combination of minors and electives. These can be chosen from a wide range of business and commerce-related courses.

Why Management and Leadership?

All organisations need great leaders to empower and motivate staff and to guide the business through the complexities of the modern economic environment. If you want to focus on becoming an excellent manager and developing the skills that you can take with you to any workplace, this is the specialisation for you. Topics include managing organisations, organisational behaviour and management, leadership, people development, knowledge management, international management, leading organisational change and business strategy.
