The Mannheim Master in Business Research (MMBR) is a quantitatively-oriented programme with a clear focus on business research. The MMBR is offered completely in English and is open to international students. All students are optimally prepared for an international career, both in the academic and non-academic fields.

Course objectives
The MMBR distinguishes itself through a strong and above-average focus on research. The programme offers an ideal preparation for a structured PhD programme as offered by the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB). MMBR graduates can shorten the PhD programme offered by the CDSB by one year.At the same time, the MMBR ideally prepares students for careers in quantitative areas of business (e.g., investment banking, analysts, market research, logistics, and supply chain optimisation).

Applicants must provide a GMAT with a minimum score of 630.Academic requirements
The Mannheim Master in Business Research is a consecutive Master's degree. It requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a recognised equivalent from a university in Germany or abroad or a state-certified university of co-operative education. The degree must comprise at least 180 ECTS credits or must have a standard course duration of at least six semesters (three years) and contain a business studies component worth at least 36 ECTS credits.In addition, a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score of at least 630 points is required.
Furthermore, up to 75 points can be awarded in the selection process for a scientific, business-related essay written by the applicant.
