As an RMIT Mathematics student you'll learn to think logically and approach issues in analytical and creative ways. RMIT offers you one of those only standalone employed mathematics undergraduate programs in Australia at which you are enrolled in a math program from the very first day. You'll be provided with flexible subject selection options so as to tailor made to your requirements. Theory is applied to practical real-world and projects scenarios, whilst work placement opportunities provide connections with industry. The learning experience is also strengthened through global liberty opportunities such as international exchange. Mathematics graduates often work in multidisciplinary teams together with scientists, engineers and business analysts, even on technical, cognitive, environmental and economic issues. Career opportunities cover a wide array of businesses, including banking and finance, ecological profiling, data security, logistics, health, education or engineering and research.

Graduates are eligible to apply for graduate membership to the Australian Mathematical Society.

  • Present Year 12 prerequisites units 3 and 4-a study score of 20 in one of Mathematical Methods (some other ) or Specialist Mathematics
  • Plus a study score of 25 in any English (except EAL) or at the least 30 in English (EAL).
