Medical and Health Science by Research

Built to create specialised under graduate degrees also to offer an chance for advanced-level study in clinical, biomedical, para medical, allied health and exercise sciences. The award comprises two components; route production and work of a research study. The coursework component will provide education in research knowledge, statistics and methods to assist in the conclusion of the investigation thesis.Further, it is going to provide a tailored way of providing advanced managerial understanding for a selected area. The thesis component allows for in-depth investigation of a particular research question within the student's preferred field. The thesis will be supervised by experienced researchers within the institution of Medical and Health Science whilst catering for involvement with industry and other partners to increase research translation. This research course intends to extend the student's knowledge relevant to their chosen specialisation, in order to develop leadership roles within their livelihood and open new fields for professional development and future scientific tests.

University entry requirements apply. All applicants Must possess an Associate's degree in a relevant science field i.e. Medicine, Medical Science, Biomedical Science, Health Science, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Hygiene, Speech Pathology, Paramedicine, Physio Therapy, Exercise and Sports Science with a class Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 or greater, using equivalents considered.
