This program prepares registered nurses with the information and skills needed for acceptance for a mid wife. As qualified professionals, graduates will soon be in a position to ease the attention of women and their families undergoing childbirth in many different settings.

Australian Nursing & Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC). Graduates will be eligible for enrollment as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

  • Completion of an AQF degree 7 bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent qualification
  • AHPRA enrollment as Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • And concurrent employment (minimum 0.4 FTE) at a midwifery unit.
