Mining and Metallurgical Engineering (Research)

This research application grows, through the conduct of a supervised research project in virtually any field of mining technology, the capacity to add to the knowledge and practice of engineering. At the completion of the project, the candidate submits a written thesis presenting the results of the work and discussing the significance of these for the applicable field of technology. The level is awarded upon the favourable recommendation of examiners appointed to assess the thesis.
