The Master of Museum and Heritage Studies (advanced level ) draws our strong relations with Canberra's important cultural and collecting associations to prepare you for an innovative career in this area. Our professors are global leaders in research in the area, and the masters offers a selection of specialisations in either museum or heritage studies. Within the memorial specialisation you'll find conventional curatorship and collections management, as well as brand new areas like such as social inclusion, citizenship and community participation, social activism and temples, Indigenous curation and collection, along with innovative visitor studies. The cultural and environmental heritage specialisation provides you with the chance to analytically speech and evaluate federal and global policy and techniques in the context of a critical framework that explores the social and political occurrence and affects of both heritage as well as its management and conservation.
