Nursing

The Occupational Certification (Nursing) provides you with basic knowledge and skills linked to the broad field of healthcare with a focus on nursing. Covering both theoretical and technical realms, within this course you will understand: ethics and law as related to healthcare; physiology and anatomy of the human anatomy; person-centred care and partnerships in nursing practice; and the critical aspects of the nurse in modern clinic.

• Conclusion of year 12 (or equivalent)
• Or Completed Certificate IV
• Or 3 years full time (or equivalent) work experience.On completion of this Certification, you will be offered a place in QUT's Bachelor of Nursing schedule with each subject credited towards their education.
