This system enhances students' nursing practice and prepares them to get clinical direction. It is created for level qualified Nurses who are eligible to enroll (Division 1) to allow them to shape the development and delivery of all health care services. It prepares students for clinical direction, research and advanced practice roles and provides opportunity for ongoing skilled development. Students choose a specialisation in emergency and acute care, community and primary health care, paediatric and child health, and clinical training education. The application is delivered in mixed manner employing a combination of internet and work-related learning.
Graduates may apply for membership together with qualified medical nursing businesses.
- Bachelor Eligibility (AQF level 7) in nursing by a recognised tertiary education provider
- Applicants who are Registered Nurses registered in Australia with the Australian Physician Regulation Agency (AHPRA) who Don't Have a Bachelor Eligibility Might be Required for admission based on extensive industry experience and will require Endorsement by the Program Leader
- International students in a Student visa Needs to demonstrate English language skills at an IELTS level of 7 with no subtest less than 7 or equivalent
