Clinical education is an essential part of the Bachelor of Nursing Science (Pre-registration). Students take part in supervised clinical practice in a variety of hospitals, healthcare and community settings. In addition, the course provides scientific, biophysical and humanistic behavioural understanding. Students develop skills in communication, assessment of customers, preparation and implementation of medical interventions and management and evaluation of medical care.

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia; Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. This course is licensed by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council.

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • English (Unit3/4,C).

    Recommended: biology, chemistry along with some Maths (Components 3/4,C). Students must meet prerequisites for positioning: immunisation
  • Current Provide Medical Certificate
  • Suitability to Work with Children Card (Blue Card)
  • Australian Federal Police test.
