This app is designed for students that are dedicated to improving the lifestyles of people by empowering involvement in regular activity. It's intended to meet up with the competency standards for new graduate occupational therapists. Students learn to work together with people and communities to enhance their capacity to engage in the tasks that they need to, want to or have been expected to perform. Students also know about modifying the job or the environment to support people's occupational engagement. Students works with all people, for example those that have an impairment of body structures or function owing to a health condition, or that are restricted in their own involvement, or that are excluded for their own membership of social or ethnic minority groups. Candidates may possess the attitudes, knowledge and skills to work with individuals, independently or in groups or communities. Graduates works in a wide variety of public, voluntary and private industry settings, and will provide services in diverse environments such as homes, schools, offices, health centres, supported accommodationand home for seniors, rehab centres, hospitals and forensic centres.

This course has an early closing date to submit applications by the 31st May of every year for domestic applicants and 31st March every year for international applicants. Domestic applicants must apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Students should apply in: http://www.uac.edu.au/postgraduate/ A completed bachelor degree in any field using a credit or higher average. Short listed applicants will have to wait a pre-admission interview. Entry will be centered on both amount studies and interview. English language requirements: must have a Total Academic IELTS score of 7.0 with no band score less than 7.0.
