The Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation aims to provide crucial understanding, technical abilities and leadership qualities to those who would like workin outdoor recreation. The program is designed to meet a growing demand in WA for qualified individuals in adventure tourism, eco tourism and school programs. Professionals in this field need to have the skills to design appropriate, needs-based and enjoyable programs to which customers ' committed. They need to blend practical outdoor skills; evaluate needs; and design, plan and execute safe outdoor diversion programs. Practical competence and professional standards are at the center of the undergraduate program. An experiential method is thought of as the essence of Outdoor Recreation.

This degree provides students with experiences in kayaking, canoeing, mountain climbing, bushwalking and other outdoor tasks as determined by accreditation in the National Outdoor Leadership Registration Scheme (NOLRS).
