The class was made to give registered nurses with the knowledge and skills to exercise safely and competently in many different paediatric nursing settings. Through creative and innovative teaching and learning experiences students develop expertise in caring for kids and their loved ones affected by severe and chronic illness and disability. This class develops and extends students' critical thinking, knowledge of paediatric nursing practice, management and accountability across a range of healthcare settings. What's more, this course is also a highly effective means to get the professional features of a paediatric nurse, and maintain professional standards and take part in lifelong learning. Graduates are well equipped to be the part of a multi disciplinary team, and are able to evaluate and develop their own practice and contribute to the professional development of many others.
- UTS recognised bachelor degree, or equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional credentials that demonstrates possibility to pursue graduate studies. Applicants must hold current registration as a nurse in Australia. Registered nurses who do not need an undergraduate diploma or degree but do have recent relevant work experience and will demonstrate the capability to undertake tertiary study may also be considered eligible. Applicants must possess concurrent employment , or use of, the clinical field of study plus twelve months old post-registration clinical experience. The English proficiency requirement of local applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
