This course is designed to meet the learning and professional development needs of human resource and training practitioners, managers, researchers and policy-makers who are involved in designing or researching workplace learning, work practices and skills systems for improved organisational performance.
You will acquire the latest academic and professional knowledge in understanding the complex relationships between learning, skills, work practices and organisational performance.
There is also an option at Module 3 to enhance this knowledge in the global or national comparative context or to specialise in organisational performance and skills.

Teaching and assessment methods The course is studied by distance learning and is based upon the principles of continuous assessment. Each course starts with the Academic Writing Skills (AWS) module, which is designed to prepare you for studying at Masters level at CLMS. You will then be required to complete an assignment of 4,000-5,000 words at the end of each of the four modules and a 16,000-20,000 word dissertation.
