Pet Styling

This qualification is for persons who are engaged or employed to present pet stylist services. An experienced pet breeder will soon know that the styling standards for diverse breeds, know small animal anatomy and be able to determine pet hygiene problems that can indicate a medical problem. Besides patience and a genuine empathy for animals, a pet breeder should maintain high standards of professionalism and cleanliness. Superb customer care skills are required and stylists who have or manage a salon may even require good small business management and organisational skills. Dogs may be the creature to the majority of commonly visit a stylist, however stylists should be prepared to take care of cats and other pets.Job roles included in this Qualification could include:\tHead stylist\tGrooming Salon owner/manager\t mobile Salon owner/manager. No accreditation, legislative or certificate requirements apply to this qualification during the time of publication. However, a single unit of competency may specify relevant licensing, legislative and/or regulatory conditions.
