This system links the health sciences related to drugs for example metabolic rate, activity and toxicology with the pharmaceutical science of drugs for example drug design, synthesis and analysis both in vivo and in services and products. The class enables students to obtain expertise in the applicable areas of human health and disorder and pharmaceutical chemistry and produces graduates with an integral set of knowledge and skills permitting wider career prospects in science businesses such as pharmaceutical, biomedical, chemicaland agricultural, makeup, food and beverage. This class does not permit clinic as a pharmacist. Individuals with scientific research into mind might progress into Honours and postgraduate studies (subject to performance at the degree application ).
- Completion of an Australian Adult Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent) containing Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in just about every English
- AND a study score of 25 in Chemistry
- AND a study score of 25 in one of Biology or Health and Human Development. Students who have completed a Certificate IV in an associated Science/Health field will be eligible to apply for entrance to this program
- OR Completion of a cognate (similar subject ) Australian Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) will soon be awarded advanced status of a max of 96 credit points (Diploma) or 144 credit points (Advanced Diploma). Applicants who have relevant work, education or community expertise from the Pharmaceutical/Chemical or Health industries, will likely be considered for admission to the program.
