The Master of Pharmacy can be an accredited two-year, graduate-entry level resulting in eligibility for registration as a pharmacist. In addition to this pharmaceutical sciences, this includes professional pharmacy services, incorporated therapeutics as well as the unique capstone theme, Molecule to Market, directed by industry leader Adjunct Professor John Montgomery. Two optional subjects provide students with the opportunity to individualise their studies with their choice of almost any available postgraduate subject offered in UTS. Manufactured by leading drugstore academics and our expert educational designer, the class's subject material is delivered in an incorporated, student-focused fashion, making use of cuttingedge technologies and strong connections with the pharmacy profession. Expert guest lecturers and pro instructors have been employed during the course to ensure significance and realworld application of articles. Students undertake clinical practice in a broad array of settings sourced by UTS throughout the degree. This carries a bonded hospital drugstore positioning. On-campus learning takes place at the Graduate School of Health's state of the art research and education facility, which opened in 2015. Career options include: community drugstore; professional pharmacy services; hospital/clinical drugstore; medication research, development and design; professional jobs in pharmaceutical industry; primary medical care; consultancy; education; government and policy; the armedforces; and nonprofit organisations.

The Guru of Pharmacy is fully accredited without conditions by the Australian Pharmacy Council and approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia as a qualification Resulting in registration as a pharmacist in Australia. Upon completion of the level, students should complete a mandatory pre-registration training period and also Intern training course in order to qualify for registration.

  • UTS recognised bachelor degree, or equivalent, or submitted additional evidence of general and professional credentials that shows potential to pursue graduate studies. Entry is competitive and assessment relies on GPA. Applicants should also have completed these subjects in a tertiary degree within the last 10 decades and has to offer relevant subject outlines together with their application: 1 pharmacology subject
  • 2 chemistry issues
  • 1 bio-chemistry subject
  • 1 individual physiology subject, and one mathematics or statistics subject. The English proficiency requirement for international students or community applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 7.5 overall with a 7.0 in each subtest
  • Or TOEFL: newspaper established: 610-633 overall with TWE of 5.0, internet established: 102-109 overall with a score of 2-4 for reading and listening, 2 3 for speaking and 27 for writing
  • PTE: 73-78 overall with a 65 in each subtest
  • Or CAE: 191-199.
