Photography and Photo Imaging

This qualification reflects the use of those who apply a broad range of technical skills from photo imaging, for example light, image capture, enhancements and manipulation and output. Exercise at this level is predominately digital. It's underpinned by the effective use of integrated technical, theoretical and historical understanding of photo imaging and also the capability to create solutions and concepts in response to a brief. Practitioners may work in a range of industry contexts, for example retail, commercial, domestic portrait, press, wedding, illustrative, institutional and art photography.
