Photography and Photo Imaging

This qualification reflects the use of people who employ a wide array of technical skills in photo imaging, for example light, image capture, enhancements and manipulation and output. Exercise at this level is predominately digital. It's underpinned by the application of integrated technological, theoretical and historical understanding of photo imaging and also the capability to come up with concepts and solutions in answer to a brief. Practitioners can work in a selection of industry contexts, for example retail, commercial, domestic portrait, media, wedding, art, institutional and art photography.
