PhD. graduate of Power Engineering study program will obtain theoretical and methodological knowledge from key fields of power engineering as power plant modernization, research and development of new technologies by using direct energy conversion, power lines transmission capability increasing, operation control of power system, electric energy consumption rationalization, electrodevices diagnosis and prophylactic, living environment monitoring and protection. Principles of scientific individual and team work, formulation and solving of scientific problems will be acquired. The graduate will be able to analyse and solve complex and nonstandard tasks, to bring original solutions and to present them. He will be able to apply knowledge in own work and also will be able to apply law, social, moral, ethic, economic and environmental aspects of self profession. He can lead scientific and developing teams, administer projects and held responsibility for complex solutions. He will find professional use in public and private sector.
