The job of Primary Education is a comprehensive degree that combines basic theory with 30 weeks of technical supervised instruction experience. This educational education diploma unites educational theory and classroom learning with loads of handson instruction experience at elementary schools across New South Wales and beyond. Over the four-year degree, you'll be expected to accomplish 30 weeks of supervised instruction - construction out of a single week of class room observation in Year someone to a complete term internship at Year Four.

This level is fully accredited with The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

  • Attorney with recent Secondary Education
  • Choice 1 - HSC performance Ridge results which include 3 x Band 5 results, together with these Band 5 results being in English
  • or Option 2 - HSC performance Circle Outcomes with a Circle 4 in English, a minimum average of Bands 4s along with also an overall minimum normal HSC mark of 75 percent in HSC Category A Courses (or even Inter State equivalent). Applicants must be eligible for an ATAR or even OP. Under this option students must pass all courses (units) in their initial year before proceeding to next year
  • Or Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 24. Applicants with Degree Study
  • Additional University Studies completed at undergraduate level or even higher. A minimal number of 4 successfully completed areas
  • Or Successful conclusion of the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program or another Enabling Program at a level deemed adequate by the University. Applicants that have completed subjects in another University, which are relevant to the selected program of study, may qualify for Advanced Standing. Applicants with Vocational Education and Training (VET) study
  • Completed AQF Diploma or higher in a relevant discipline, from an accredited provider like TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
