Primary Education (Creative Arts)

This class enables students to become primary school teacher with a specialisation from the creative arts. Students will: Profit appropriate scientific, literacy and numeracy comprehension; master the notions and theories that are the cornerstone for educational practice in chief configurations; demonstrate a comprehension of student needs and differences, and also the relevance of them to learning inclusive, indigenous, EALD and mainstream preferences; plan and develop appropriate teaching tasks for students from a diverse selection of backgrounds; develop and execute effective assessment strategies and carry out assessment of instruction programs, tools as well as your own teaching; apply the mandatory content comprehension for all key school curriculum areas to instruction, assessment and reporting methods, alternate/enhanced literacy and numeracy plans, and also the effective utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in learning and teaching; and also think in their practice and experiences, and also engage in a process of continual progress.

Admission to the course relies on an entrance position. A position can be achieved by a year 1-2 ATAR, other Australian qualification, work experience, or an overseas qualification. All applicants will have to finish a written statement in reaction to questions designed to check their suitability to the teaching profession.
