Education (Primary)

This program prepares students to show over Prep to year 6 in primary schools. Students develop a range of skills which in conjunction with professional experience and personal qualities will equip them for a variety of livelihood.

This course meets professional instruction standards for the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, and Queensland College of Teachers and pupils are eligible to apply for teacher registration. Graduates looking for employment at different parts of Australia and overseas may be required to meet more problems.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• Pre Requisites: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as an Additional Language (Components 3 and 4( C), or equivalent
• Along With General Mathematics, or Mathematical Procedures, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 and 4, C), or Even equivalent
• And at least one of Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Marine Science, Physics, or Mathematics (Components 3 and 4, C), or equivalent.
