Professional Engineering

This course gives a developmental pathway for engineers to perfect skills in selected technology fields as well as the interaction of those areas. It aims to boost your skills in working with more complex engineering problems and interactions between technologies technical domain and also the wider context in which they exist. Systems technology is concerned with the design, performance and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems that are employed in medical, aerospaceand industrial settings, and also in communications technology. National pupils: Pathway 1 per cent. A completed recognised three year full time Bachelor level within a mechanical or electric engineering /engineering technology field. b. An completed recognised four year full time Bachelor level within an non-cognate engineering field. Entrants will be qualified for Mechanical or Electrical SAAs only, on this particular pathway. Pathway 2 per. An completed recognised four year full time Bachelor degree in engineering with a grade point average of 4.0 or more (on QUT's 7 point scale). International students: Pathway 1 per cent. A completed recognised three year full time Bachelor level in a mechancial or electric engineering / engineering technology field b. A completed recognised four year full time Bachelor level in a non invasive cognate engineering field. Entrants will be qualified for Mechanical or Electrical SAAs only on this pathway. Pathway 2 per. An completed recognised four year full time Bachelor degree in engineering with a grade point average of 4.0 or more (on QUT's 7 point scale). b. Note: Ineligible students . Students that have completed BN87 are qualified for entrance to the EN55 Electrical and Management / Mechanical and Management analysis locations. 2. Students that have completed EN50 are qualified for admission to the EN55 Mechanical or Electrical analysis locations.
