UTS's Master of Property Development provides an extensive understanding of the real estate development process along with practical skills needed to work effectively in the business. This integrates the governmental, financial, legal and physical processes that add to the profitable evolution of real estate assets. Within this course, students take advantage of close ties to industry. UTS academics have professional backgrounds and connections, and class projects tend to be based on real improvement scenarios. Current project examples comprise the Gladesville Hospital website, Lindfield Town Centre and also the Sydney Light Rail Corridor. As much students have extensive industry experience too, you will find excellent opportunities for peer reviewed learning and media across a variety of fields including real estate development, appraisal, construction, engineering, town planning and structure.

The Program is Licensed by both the Property Institute of Australia and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

  • UTS recognised bachelor level, or equivalent, in a credit level, in a number of the following disciplines: architecture and construction, technology, management and trade, law, economics and econometrics, planning
  • Or a completed UTS Graduate Diploma in Property Development at credit degree. The English proficiency requirement for international students or community applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
  • Or TOEFL: paper established: 550-583 complete with TWE of 4.5, internet established: 79-93 complete with a writing score of 21
  • Or AE5: Walk
  • Or PTE: 58-64
  • Or CAE: 176-184. Eligibility for entry doesn't guarantee offer of a place.
