Ce programme a pour objectif la formation d'un professionnel qui est en mesure d'evaluer les capacites et les difficultes d'adaptation d'une personne ainsi que les forces et les limites de ses milieux de vie afin de concevoir, de coordonner et de mettre en oeuvre un plan ou un programme d'interventions visant l'integration sociale de personnes en difficulte d'adaptation par le biais du vecu partage. En terme de connaissances theoriques, le programme permet au futur intervenant de se familiariser avec les diverses facettes du developpement humain de meme qu'avec les differents facteurs de risque ou de protection en jeu dans les processus d'adaptation et de readaptation. En terme de formation professionnelle, le programme vise a favoriser la connaissance et l'utilisation de soi, le developpement de l'autonomie personnelle et professionnelle et l'acquisition des competences professionnelles et des valeurs ethiques qui sous-tendent l'intervention aupres des personnes en difficulte d'adaptation. Dans cette optique, le programme preconise une approche integree qui mise sur un rapport constant entre les connaissances theoriques, le developpement personnel et la pratique professionnelle.
