Psychology may be the subject of inquiry that uses scientific practices and techniques to understand and explain expertise and behaviour. Being a profession, it involves the use of psychological knowledge to practical problems in human behavior. Units from the program are drawn from the following topic regions of psychology: history of psychology, biological psychology, learning, social psychology, lifespan development, perception and understanding, human differences, cognitive and personality processes.
This course is licensed by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) within an undergraduate three year sequence in Psychology.
