Students in the program will soon be introduced to clinical skills as well as gaining a thorough understanding of emotional research. Students will complete an individual thesis onto a practice related research topic. The program has a significant emphasis in developing the eight core competencies required for emotional practice. All teaching staff are all experienced clinicians or investigators that are committed to advancing the specialty of psychology through their own work and also their interaction with all students. Applicants are required to have completed a 3 year sequence in an APAC accredited program of analysis. The class intends to give its completion of a 4 year chain which is a requirement for advanced study in psychology. The content of the course includes theoretical and philosophical foundations for psychological measurement and appraisal, as well as the evidence established approaches to psychological intervention. Professional practice problems and ethics are also vital to the program.
The Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)
Applicants must have completed a three year sequence in psychology in an accredited APAC application of analysis, over the previous ten decades. Minimum entry benchmark is a credit average in third and second year units.
