Quantum technologies such as computing, metrology, and communications have the potential to greatly change the world, since we push us in the Quantum Age. By exploiting quantum phenomena, society-changing technologies such as unbreakable cryptography or semi faster computers are poised to turn into a reality. Recently, a number of the technologies have matured to the point a commercial quantum market is emerging. This has been met with tremendous investments in the government and industry, both domestically and internationally. The coming Quantum Age will call for a technically-skilled workforce to serve the needs with this new and rapidly evolving industry. There will also be a heightened demand for knowledge of the field included in government, defence, finance, services, and associated businesses. This program gives you the necessary skills and knowledge of the scientific, technical, business and social aspects of quantum technology to become very competitive in the emerging quantum industries of their present day and later on. This high level program comprises a research thesis and project.
