Screen Production

The class focuses on the critical analysis and production of material for the rapidly-growing networking landscape which includes digital platforms and devices such as smart phones, tablet computers, e readers, handheld video devices, digital signage and internet video. Growth in this space has raised the demand for skilled workers who are able to create, distribute and manage screen and networking articles. The path contrasts with Creative Victoria's 20-16 industry strategy that acknowledges links between different creative industry disciplines, and winners the advantages of practitioners who are able to work across the creative industries'ecosystem'. Career outcomes come in emerging markets which leverage traditional screen and media production skills with fresh contexts and narratives.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or even 30 in English (EAL). Supplemental performance criteria and requirement requirements may also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of one of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 high level degree ) with overall 65%, all skills 65 percent
• Minimum IELTS overall group of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no single band below 6.0
• TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 75 with a hearing band at least 18 and writing band at least 20
• Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
• Any equal assessment of English language proficiency. Notice: A prerequisite for all classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus in Hawthorn.
