The programme is offered in close collaboration with the business sector and our partner companies. When applying to the Master´s programme in Service Management you choose one of three different specialisations: Logistics, Retail or Tourism. Teaching is in English and we have students from all around the world.
Features of the specialisation Logistics
You will develop academic and industrial skills in the logistics field in order to create tomorrow s excellent supply chains. Working in close cooperation with the Department´s partner organisations, you will have the opportunity to get involved with their operations through projects and mentor programmes. This will help you develop the important analytical and managerial skills while giving you valuable experience to develop innovative, strategic and sustainable global supply chains. You will gain knowledge and experience from different logistics fields, and develop tools to create innovative and sustainable logistics in companies, municipal organisations, and others.
Career prospects
Graduates from this programme will work as project leaders, managers of supply chain departments and logistic departments as well as consultants in different organisations including hospitals and municipal organisations. You are also qualified to perform research projects across a wide spectrum of logistic and supply chain companies and organisations.

You apply for a Lund University Global Scholarship after you have applied for the programme/or free-standing course you wish to study at Lund University.
Swedish Institute scholarshipsThe Swedish Institute offers several scholarship programmes for international students studying at Bachelor's, Master's, PhD and post-doctoral levels.
Swedish Institute Study Scholarship:
The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships target highly qualified students across two categories:
Category 1: Students from the following 12 developing countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Category 2: Students with citizenship from countries on the DAC list (note there are some exceptions).
In the 2013 application round over 30 of Lund University's study programmes are nominated for this scholarship.
