The Bachelor of Shariah (Hons.) programme at the University of Malaya offers a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of Islamic jurisprudence, theology, law, and related disciplines. Students must complete a total of 127 credit in order to be awarded the Bachelor in Shariah (Islamic Astronomy). Duration of programme is 7semesters, which is equal to three and half years. Students must take and pass all courses / subjects prescribed as: University Compulsory Courses: 23 credit 
Academy Core Courses: 11 credit Programme Core and 
Elective Courses: 93 credit

Foundation for Islamic Studies, Nilam Puri, Kelantan; or

Malaysian Higher Islamic Religious Certificate (STAM); or
