Students with this course explore the very important and complex social, business and government policy difficulties. The degree provides major schooling in economics and sociology, but offers flexibility concerning subject matter researched, meaning students can study disciplines such as political science and international relations, in addition to law, justice studies, business, commerce or direction. Students will: Analyse the complexities of contemporary times through identifying central economic issues and growing corresponding solutions; examine and evaluate a range of economic theories and apply them to contemporary problems and scenarios in order to develop and suggest policy responses; explain and review the explanations of economic life through the use of systematic and rigorous procedures of enquiry that assess resource allocation; and reevaluate, analyse and assess the connections between the scarcity of resources, the character of values, and also the plan of social and economic policy in local and global contexts.

Entry to the program relies in an entrance position. A position can be achieved by a year 1-2 ATAR, other Australian eligibility, work experience, or an international qualification.
