The app provides students with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to work like an expert social worker and eligibility to become a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Social Workers typically work with disadvantaged and marginalised individuals, groups, and communities in just a social justice framework in counseling, advocacy, and the augmentation of wellbeing. Friendly workers work toward fixing barriers, inequality and injustices faced by lots of classes and sub groups within our community. Social work education is grounded within a framework that assesses the interface and between individual behaviour and complex social interactions. While covering all the core demands of a professional social work level, this course provides students with a rural focussed program, together with additional foci on Indigenous peoples, child protection and law. The course incorporates the mandatory supervised professional fieldwork experience in relevant social work settings and can be open to students to review either on campus or on the web, together with regular mandatory intensive face to face classes for students who learn by distance.
The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). On graduation students will be required to fulfill additional Language Language requirements for eligibility for membership of the AASW.
A 3-year undergraduate degree in a discipline other than social work from a recognised University, with relevant credit issues. All pupils need to fulfill the University's English Language Requirements.
