The Master of Special and Inclusive Education is a coursework program meant for practising teachers and many others who have relevant expertise in prevention and intervention services who want to acquire postgraduate professional credentials in special and inclusive education. The program combines theory, research and practice, with an emphasis on applying evidence-based approaches to encourage both the development and learning of students with additional needs and individuals at an increased risk.
NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA), NSW Department of Education. Victorian DET endorsed provider for Deaf Education and Deaf Studies.
- Homework Honours Degree at education/teaching, psychology, disability studies, allied health or some related discipline OR 4-year Bachelor Degree at education/teaching OR Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a related field OR 3-year Bachelor Degree at education/teaching, psychology, disability studies, allied health or a related subject, also 12 months experience working in a related field including: CV outlining relevant work experience in a suitable field
- And Record (s) of Service confirming one (1) year of practical experience in a suitable field OR Advanced Diploma or Diploma in education/teaching with a minimum of ten years teaching experience, for example: CV outlining relevant educational experience
- And Record (s) of Service for ten (10) years minimum.
