Sport Management

The Graduate Certificate in Sport Management offers a simple introduction to the sport industry environment and also an introduction to management skills pertinent to the industry. The class offers introductory skill sets required for managers to use from the game industry. The class provides theories, models and case studies so as to understand that the intricate essence of the sport industry. Career options include sport promotion and sponsorship, sport public associations, sport site direction, sport event management, human resource management, sport, player administration, and sport policy improvement.

• Applicants must have completed a UTS approved bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional credentials that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies. Applicants with no diploma require eight years' full time employment experience and evidence of a general capacity to undertake tertiary education. The English proficiency requirement for local applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
• Or TOEFL: newspaper established: 550-583 complete with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 complete with a writing score of 2-1
• Or AE5: Walk
• Or PTE: 58-64
