Sports Media

The Bachelor of Sports Media has been built to cultivate students who aspire to work from the sports media industry. The course has four streams: game, journalism, media , and communications. Students will be designed to do the job in various roles with sport leagues and clubs, sports websites organisations, press organisations and sports agencies. The course provides significant applied learning opportunities by which students serve as advisers to sporting organisations growing the skills required by industry. There's significant industry involvement: guest speakers, field trips and a 228-hour internship with a few of the industry partners like Fox Footy, Herald Sun, Melbourne Stars, SEN1116, AF-L Victoria, Basketball Victoria and Cricket Victoria. This degree facilitates real world opportunities for students, ensuring that they learn more and perform more and are prepared for a thrilling sports press career.

Just before enrolment or commencement of training you'll have to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and also a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to this course, verify your exercise plan, and identify any learning service requirements.
