This advanced program is intended to give tax practitioners the expertise required to specialise in the complex and varied field of law. Students will have the choice of specialising in either domestic or worldwide tax law and also will develop an advanced comprehension of the technicalities of tax law in a variety of specialist places. Subjects covered include; international tax, resource tax, advanced capital gains, corporate tax, taxation of trusts and transfer pricing.
- Bachelor level or equivalent, as recognized by UWA, in a cognate field, that contains a part in Taxation Law
- Or a Bachelor degree, or equivalent, as recognized by UWA, in a cognate field, and at the least 6 weeks relevant professional experience
- Or a Bachelor degree, or equivalent, as recognised by UWA, also completed LAWS5132 Tax Law made available from UWA or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty
- Or a degree and period of instruction along with minimum of two years of expert experience accepted by the University to be adequate to enable satisfactory completion of this course.
