This program was created for qualified tutors secondary teachers who want to update and/or add an additional teaching area with their own formal preservice teacher credentials. To finish a graduate teaching certificate, applicants must possess relevant studies in the teaching specialisation by which they want to enroll. They need to also be teaching at a school which may allow them to undertake high level Professional Practice in that specialisation. As this post graduate teaching program is made for working educators, it's ordinarily undertaken part-time.
NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
A recognised Bachelor degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. Graduate Diploma of Education or Master of instruction ) or even a four degree pre-service teacher education eligibility, including expert experience, comparable to the credentials required for Graduate teacher status in NSW. All candidates need to have at least four semester length units of accredited doctoral studies in the relevant instruction area too.
