Training and Assessment

This qualification reflects that the functions of an individual delivering training and assessment services at the postsecondary education and training (VET) sector. This qualification (or so the skillsets derived from units of competency within it) can be suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in an office context, being a component of a structured VET program.The volume of learning via a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is typically six weeks to 2 years.Licensing/Regulatory Information Achievement of this qualification by trainers is a requirement of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

Those entering this system has to be able to demonstrate vocational competency within their suggested teaching and appraising area. Vocational competency is defined as extensive industry knowledge and experience, and may comprise, but isn't limited by, holding a useful unit of competence or eligibility.
