This qualification reflects the roles of training developers and instructional designers who are accountable for training training needs and designing training solutions and services and products to satisfy workplace capacity prerequisites, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. They may have a job in providing advice and guidance to coaches and assessors, promoting advanced methods, e.g. elearning, as well as in researching and incorporating best practice in appraisal and training into training programs and services and products.
