M.I.M is a private higher learning institution committed to offering students a high quality,
global business education. MIM offers our students a real opportunity to gain insight into the
meaning of business success, in New York and around the world. In the past 26 years, over
5,000 students from almost every country on earth have stepped through the gates of MIM's
downtown Manhattan campus. In 2014, MIM celebrated its 30-year anniversary, and the
school has expanded to an enrollment of over 300 students under the guidance of its new
Directors, Marc Nelson (Recruitment) and Alex Stefan (Academic).
M.I.M has a specific mission: provide each student with the necessary skills to climb the ladder
of success and make a difference in their careers. At MIM, you are our priority. From day one,
our objective is to ensure that you achieve your academic potential and all our staff members
are focused on ensuring that your experience with us is one that is enjoyable.
The Manhattan Institute of Management (M.I.M) was founded as a non-profit organization in
1984 by a group of prominent international corporate executives and entrepreneurs. MIM has
a long record of educational innovation, integrating cutting-edge business practices with
traditional business curricula.
The Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York State. The Bureau is responsible for ensuring that the overall educational quality of the programs offered will provide students with the necessary skills to secure meaningful employment and for protecting students' financial interests while attending proprietary schools. BPSS licenses/registers proprietary schools and credentials proprietary school teachers to ensure that appropriate standards are met. The Bureau investigates student complaints and conducts comprehensive investigations of schools to assure compliance with Education Law and Commissioner's Regulations. Proprietary schools under BPSS jurisdiction include trade and business schools, computer training facilities, and for-profit English as a Second Language (ESL) schools.
ACICS accreditation is a gateway for access to federal student financial aid. Recognized by ED and CHEA as a reliable authority on the quality of education, ACICS-accredited colleges and schools are eligible to participate in Title IV federal financial aid programs. ACICS is a trans-regional and trans-national accrediting authority. It is authorized to accredit institutions within a state and a region, as well as across regions (trans-regional). ACICS is also recognized as a reliable authority in foreign countries. is means ACICS accreditation allows institutions to operate in multiple regions of the country as well as internationally, without having to seek multiple (and often costly) regional accreditation.
New Student Orientation
All new students are required to attend an orientation session, which familiarizes them with the MIM’s academic policies, teaching philosophies, curriculum, and related services. Each new student is required to complete the Policy and Procedure Form and the Computer Usage and Electronic Communication Policy Form indicating they have reviewed required guidelines set forth by the MIM and officiating agencies.
All new students receive a copy of the current MIM Catalog and will sign an Enrollment Agreement for the program that will attend.
New student orientation meeting will be posted on MIM's Schedule under MIM's eSolution.
Student Registration

Continuing students are required to register at the beginning of each quarter. By registering at Manhattan Institute f Management students agree to all rules and regulations of the MIM. Students also must adhere to all financial aid regulations and MIM's payment plans before registering for courses.
The new students will open an account on eAttendance under MIM eSolution
In Company Integrative Project ( ICIP ) Orientation
The Interactive Project should involve a real, well-defined business problem or issue in the area of business, finance or marketing. At MIM, all of our programs involve an In-Company Integrative Project (ICIP) component. By combining theory (through academic coursework) with practice (via an ICIP at a New York City company), students are able to have an academic/business/professional experience like none other. The new students will follow the ICIP process posted on eCatalog under MIM eSolution
Housing Accommodations
During your time at MIM, we will assist you with finding housing in New York City. With a vast array of apartments to choose from, your stay in New York will be comfortable. While the coursework is intense, your living conditions will ensure that you can enjoy all that New York has to offer.
Graduation Rates
The Student Right-to-Know Act requires schools to disclose graduation rates of certificate- or degree-seeking, full-time, first-time undergraduate students. These are students who have not attended post-secondary education courses before and who are attending school on a full-time basis. Manhattan Institute of Management’s programs are currently focused on students attending on a full-time basis; however, in the past, Manhattan Institute of Management’s programs were primarily directed to students attending school on most of whom had previously taken courses at another institution. Therefore, the cohort of students who meet the definition of full-time, first-time undergraduate students is very small.
