Develop the abilities, understanding and knowledge to turn into a qualified secondary school health and physical education teacher with Deakin's Bachelor of Health and Physical Education. Understand how to produce safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments to offer experiences which encourage lifelong health and physical activity.You will research areas such as secondhand sports science, biomechanics, motor learning and development and discover the science and art of movement education and performance skills through mediums such as dance and gymnastics. Gain access to industry-standard tools and advanced facilities, including our Elite Sports Precinct and specialised instruction labs. This, together with exceptionally engaging and practical placements through our Expert Experience Program, means you will graduate motivated, well-prepared and prepared to embrace a meaningful career in education.Deakin works closely together with school mates and relevant organisations to deliver you customised learning experiences tailored for the degree, which means that you will end up studying the most relevant and pressing health problems confronting our population -- and probably the most effective ways to reduce them.
