This qualification reflects the job roles of workers in the accounting business, including BAS Agents and contract bookkeepers; and of these employees performing bookkeeping tasks for organisations in a range of industries. It has preparing and lodging business and instalment activity statements, and providing advice or dealing with the Commissioner for a citizen in relation to actions statements. Individuals in those roles employ theoretical and specialist knowledge and skills to work peacefully, and training judgement in completing routine and non-routine activities.Licensing/Regulatory InformationWork functions from the occupational areas where this eligibility may be properly utilized are susceptible to regulatory requirements. Other conditions apply, including a predetermined amount of experience. Persons searching BAS agent registration should assess current registration requirements with the TPB, as registration requirements have been evaluated regularly.
